Lights, camera, fashion! The Krewe of Harmonia (KOH) royalty were featured in this year’s Crescendeaux Gala presented by the Women’s Foundation of the South. The foundation is a public foundation led by and working for womxn and girls of color in the southern United States.
This year’s theme a Carnival of Culture was a nod to both the fashion and fun which embodies all things carnival mystique. The event, a fashion show fundraising gala, featured six designers of color while highlighting prominent New Orleans Mardi Gras krewe royalty throughout the evening.
Sydney Dedeaux, Queen Harmonia, II and Dr. Camacia Smith-Ross, Queen Harmonia III represented the krewe. Participating krewes alongside of KOH included the queens of Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club and the Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale.
